As every student at Tahatai knows (With the exception of the new entrants) the ugly prefabs have been on the field for years. Now, the other day I put out some feelers and this is the information I gathered.
There are a WHOPPING 17 prefabs in total! Several of which were originally owned by TCS, while a further ten were brought in for temporary accommodation during the repairs/demolition/rebuild.
Yes, we ARE actually keeping some prefabs, which are rooms 25, 26 and 27. Two of these rooms, as most of us have already worked out, are currently in use as the Music and Kids Club rooms.
So, where will the rest be going? We know for a fact that four are zipping straight off to other schools, however, we are not sure where. But, that makes 7 that are accounted for! What about the other Ten!? These ten will be heading direct to storage, where their future will be considered.
In conclusion, these have NOT been the prettiest of buildings, but they did see us well during the few years that we needed them, so it will be good to be rid of them!
Clue number one for those agents keen on helping with mission impossible...
